2025 BUILD SEASON FOOD INFORMATION
We are feeding approximately 57 students and 15 mentors each week. Students are to stay on campus during lunch. Students are welcome to bring their own sack lunch.
As you can imagine, feeding this many people is quite an undertaking. After many years, we have figured out what the team members eat and what works best for feeding this number of people with our limited space and resources. Thank you for helping!
Please sign up to bring food for one or more days during the build season using the sign-up form button link above. If you cannot bring food, please consider using one of the links above to donate (suggested $50, but any amount is appreciated) for the 8 weeks of food provided to your student and the team. Please note your student’s name and ‘build season food’ in the PayPal comment section.
SNACKS - We keep snacks available; you can drop off snacks anytime.
What works: Crackers (goldfish, cheez-its, pretzels, etc.), popcorn, ramen, fruit snacks, beef & cheese sticks, chips, beef jerky
Individual Serving Sizes
NO Nuts (especially peanuts)
Please do not bring granola bars, they do not get eaten
We usually have fruit and veggies left over from lunches, no need to bring them separately.
DRINKS - We provide water to refill water bottles. We do not provide soda or other drinks. Students should bring their refillable water bottles.
PLATES & UTENSILS & NAPKINS - We currently need plates (the big pack of 186 Dixie Ultra plates from Costco works best), forks, and a few packs of napkins.
SPECIAL DIETS & PICKY EATERS - We try to have non-pork and vegetarian items available each week and will try to limit nuts in the shop. Please let Debbie Johnson know of any special diets or food allergies if not noted already. Team members can bring their own lunch if they prefer.
